ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES BOLSTERS REGIONAL DISASTER RESPONSE READINESS AT EXERCISE TRIDENT RESOLVE PLANNING CONFERENCE

JAKARTA, Thursday, 07 May 2026 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) recently concluded its participation in the Final Planning Conference (FPC) for the Exercise Trident Resolve (XTR) Experts' Working Group on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (EWG on HADR). The conference was held in Jakarta from 03 to 06 May 2026, which marks the final preparatory phase before a major multinational field exercise scheduled for later this year.

JOINT FORCE CONDUCTED CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS BRIEF
BOLKIAH GARISSON, Thursday, 7May 2026 - The Cyber Security Awareness Brief was successfully conducted by the Cyber Defence Unit, Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) at the Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garisson. Present during the ceremony was Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, JF Commander, Senior Officers as well as officers and personnel of JF RBAF.

ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES PARTICIPATES VIA VIDEO TELECONFERENCING IN THE 10TH ASEAN PEACEKEEPING CENTRES NETWORK CONFERENCE 2026 IN PAMPANGA, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES

PAMPANGA, REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 08 May 2026 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) virtually participated in the 10^th ASEAN Peacekeeping Centres Network (APCN) 2026 held from 4 to 8 May 2026 at the Park Inn Hotel, Pampanga, Republic of the Philippines. The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), through the AFP's Peacekeeping Operations Centre, hosted the 10^thAPCN Conference 2026, themed “Sustaining Partnership and Cooperation Amidst Evolving Peace Operations".

THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES PARTICIPATED IN THE EXERCISE BALIKATAN 41-2026 INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS’ PROGRAM (IOP)
THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 8 May 2026 - The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated as an observer in this year's Exercise BALIKATAN from 02 until 08 May 2026 at the Republic of the Philippines. Representing RBAF was Lieutenant Colonel (Air) Haji Muhammad Rahimin bin Haji Ismail, Staff Officer Joint Air Operations, Joint Force RBAF.

ADVANCE CLERK COURSE SERIAL 01/2026 CLOSING CEREMONY

PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 29 April 2026 - A total of 30 SNCO's from various units of the RBAF successfully completed the Advance Clerk Course Serial 1/2026 from 3 to 30 April 2026 for a duration of four weeks. Amongst the participants, representing the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) was Corporal Arif Amiruddin bin Budin from J1 Personnel Joint Force, RBAF. The closing ceremony for the Advance Clerk Course Serial 01/2026 was held at the Dewan Nikmat, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF).
