JOINT FORCE COMMANDER, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES CONVENED A VIRTUAL MEETING WITH THE DIRECTOR JOINT OPERATIONS, SINGAPORE ARMED FORCES

BOLKIAH GARRISON TUESDAY, 21 DECEMBER 2021 - Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces convened a virtual meeting with Brigadier General Ho Kum Luen, Director Joint Operations, Singapore Armed Forces today.

Also in attendance were Colonel Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Chief of Staff Royal Brunei Joint Force, Joint Force Headquarters, Colonel Dr Awang Mohd Hafizul bin Haji Mohd Hassan, Chief Medical Officer, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Suwardi Ariffin bin Pehin Datu Laksamana Dato Paduka Haji Abdul Latiff, Commanding Officer of Special Force Regiment, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Haji Ismadi bin Haji Jumat, Staff Officer 1, Joint Doctrine Warfare Centre, Joint Force Headquarters and Lieutenant Colonel Azman bin Haji Peizan, Defence Adviser of Brunei to Singapore.

During the meeting, both sides conveyed their utmost appreciation for the strong and longstanding defence relations between both countries and reaffirmed their commitments to further strengthen bilateral defence relations. The session also included discussions of how the Armed Forces were involved in managing COVID-19 in the respective countries.

This is the second virtual meeting between the Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Director Joint Operations, Singapore Armed Forces held this year, and they hope that in the future more similar interactions, or a Joint Annual Interaction Program can be conducted between the two headquarters.
