BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 29 November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue Department, Emergency Medical Ambulance Service, Brunei Bridge Authority and Event Manager representatives came together in concerted effort to provide security and safety support for the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 held from Saturday, 29 November 2025 to Sunday, 30 November 2025 at the Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Bridge (SHOAS). As of the initial preparation, Table-Top Exercises and a Field-Training Exercise were conducted in October prior the Brunei Half Marathon 2025, in efforts to ensure the readiness level of all participating security agencies.
RBAF has been directly involved in this event through the participation of several security and safety components, including the operation of the Joint Operations Room (Command Centre). Ahead of the event, a visit to the Command Centre was made by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, to ensure the smoothness of event.
This security and safety support operation underscored RBAF's commitment to the Whole-of-Government through seamless integration and cooperation with participating agencies.
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sabtu, 29 November 2025 – Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) serta pihak Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat, Perkhidmatan Kecemasan Ambulans Perubatan, Brunei Bridge Authority dan perwakilan pengurus acara the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 telah secara bersepadu memberikan Bantuan Sekuriti dan Keselamatan bagi acara larian the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 yang berlangsung dari hari Sabtu, 29 November 2025 hingga Ahad, 30 November 2025 bertempat di Jambatan Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS). Sebagai penyediaan awal, Table-Top Exercise dan Field-Training Exercise telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober sebelum penganjuran the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 sebagai usaha memastikan tahap kesiapsiagaan dan koordinasi diantara agensi-agensi keselamatan yang terlibat.
ABDB telah terlibat secara langsung dalam acara ini dengan penglibatan beberapa komponen sekuriti dan keselamatan, termasuklah pengoperasian Bilik Operasi Bersama (Command Centre). Turut membuat lawatan ke Command Centre bagi memastikan kelancaran acara ialah Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Mejar Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Pertahanan Kedua dan Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Menteri Di Jabatan Perdana Menteri dan Menteri Kewangan dan Ekonomi II.
Pelaksanaan Bantuan Sekuriti dan Keselamatan ini mencerminkan komitmen teguh ABDB terhadap pendekatan Whole-of-Government, melalui penglibatan dan kerjasama bersepadu di antara ABDB dan agensi-agensi keselamatan yang terlibat.
