JOINT FORCE COMMANDER RECEIVES COURTESY CALL FROM COMMANDER JOINT FORCES OPERATIONS (CJFO) OF THE UNITED KINGDOM
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 27 October 2025 – Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from Brigadier General Daniel Bruce Duff, Commander Joint Forces Operations (CJFO) at Bolkiah Garrison. Also present at the courtesy call were Captain Jonathan Caple, Royal Navy, UK Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam, as well as the Chief of Staff of Joint Force, RBAF and Staff Officer Grade 1 J3 Navy, Joint Force RBAF.
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM CO-CHAIRED THE 2ND INTEGRATED PROJECT TEAM (IPT) MEETING ON ASEAN DIRECT COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE (ADI) PHASE 2 AND CRYPTO REFRESH WITH THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
REPUBLIC OF PHILIPPINES, 21 OCTOBER 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 1, J6 Communication & Information System from the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Lieutenant Colonel Caslindawati binti Samil accompanied by Staff Officer Grade 3, J6 Communication & Information System, Joint Force RBAF, Captain Fauziah binti Sabli and Nur Sabiqah binti Haji Rosli, Research Officer, Centre of Science and Technology Research Development Ministry of Defence (CSTRAD MINDEF) participated in 2nd Integrated Project Team Meeting for Phase 2nd of ASEAN Direct Communication Infrastructure (ADI) held in Manila, Republic of the Philippines from 21 to 22 October 2025. The meeting was co-chaired by Brunei Darussalam and Republic of the Philippines.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 23 October 2025 – Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from Captain Matthew B. Cox, Deputy Commodore, Destroyer Squadron Seven (CDS 7) in conjunction with 31st Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2025 (CARAT 31/2025) at Bolkiah Garrison today. Also present at the call were Commander Bert Bratton, US Defence Attache to Brunei, as well as Staff Officer Grade 1 J2 Intelligence, Acting Staff Officer Grade 1 J7 Training and Staff Officer Grade 1 Joint Doctrine Warfare Centre of Joint Force RBAF.
OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 31ST COOPERATION AFLOAT READINESS AND TRAINING 2025 (CARAT 31/2025)
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 23 October 2025 – The opening ceremony for the 31st Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2025 (CARAT 31/2025) bilateral exercise between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the United States Navy (USN) was held at Wira Seni Concert Hall, RBAF Band Building, Bolkiah Garrison. The CARAT 31/2025 Exercise will take place over eight days from 23rd to 30th October 2025.
THE 2ND ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES TRAINING CONFERENCE
PENANJONG GARISON, Tuesday, 21 October 2025 – The 2nd Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Conference was held at Evolution Centre, Training Institute RBAF from 21 to 22 October 2025.
JOINT FORCE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICER PARTICIPATED IN THE ASEAN PEACEKEEPING STAFF EXERCISE (APSE) 3/2025
REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, Friday, 17 October 2025 – Major Haji Nafisal bin Haji Salim from the Joint Force Royal Brunei Armed Forces, along with Major Amzar Mu’az bin Tamit, Officer Commanding from ‘B’ Company, Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), had participated in the ASEAN Peacekeeping Staff Exercise (APSE 3) at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Peacekeeping Operations Center (AFPPKOC). This 12-day exercise was held from 6 to 17 October 2025 at the AFPPKOC Headquarters, Camp O’Donnel, Capas, Tarlac, Republic of the Philippines.
