JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS CELEBRATES ILAL HIJRAH FOR THE YEAR 1447H/2025M
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 11 July 2025 - Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) joins the Ilal Hijrah 1447 Celebration Ceremony held at Surau Ad-Difa, Bolkiah Garrison. Present as the guest of honour was Colonel Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Acting Joint Force Commander. Also present were officers and personnel of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). The Ilal Hijrah 1447 Celebration Ceremony, hosted by the MINDEF is simultaneously held across all suraus in the RBAF garrisons, camps and bases, including Masjid Pulau Baru-Baru. The main event took place at Surau Al-Hikmah, Training Institute RBAF, Penanjong Garrison.
JFHQ RBAF ENHANCE OPERATIONAL READINESS THROUGH FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE (FTX)
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 10 July 2025 - The Joint Forces Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) concluded a pivotal joint exercise in preparation for the upcoming celebration of His Majesty’s 79th Birthday. Central to this preparation was a rigorous two-day Field Training Exercise (FTX) conducted at the FIBUA Complex, Penanjong Garrison. This exercise brought together all RBAF units alongside key security agencies that were previously engaged in the Table-Top Exercise (TTX) and Command Post Exercise (CPX), emphasising the critical role of each unit and operational readiness.
15th COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE (CSC) STUDY VISIT TO JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 8 July 2025 – The Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) received a study visit from course participants of the 15th Command and Staff Course (CSC), Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF). The course participants comprised of 18 officers from RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) and 19 international officers.
JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS PARTICIPATED IN THE ANNUAL COURSES ALLOCATION AND TRAINING (ACAT) MEETING IN REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
SINGAPORE, Thursday, 3 July 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 2, J7 Training, Major Zulazri bin Gapor participated in the Annual Courses Allocation and Training (ACAT) Working Year 2025/2026 meeting held at the Ministry of Defence, Singapore. The meeting was co-chaired by Colonel Loh Woon Liang, Head of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Operations Planning Group, and Colonel Haji Ismadi bin Haji Jumat, Director of Personnel, Ministry of Defence, Brunei Darussalam, who also led the RBAF delegation.
SEND-OFF CEREMONY FOR THE DEPARTING MEMBERS OF THE INDEPENDENT DECOMMISSIONING BODY, VERIFICATION MONITORING AND ASSISTANCE TEAM (IDB VMAT) 7/2025
BERAKAS, Monday, 07 July 2025 – A send-off ceremony was held for the departing members from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) assigned to the Independent Decommissioning Body, Verification Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT) 7/2025 in the Republic of the Philippines. Leading the Brunei Darussalam contingent is Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Ridzamfaizal bin Pengiran Haji Salleh, who has departed to Republic of the Philippines today along with two other officers.
SERGEANT MAJOR JFHQ RBAF PARTICIPATED IN THE 17TH SENIOR WARRANT OFFICER EXCHANGE PROGRAMME (SWEP) 2025
SINGAPORE, Wednesday, 25 June 2025 – Warrant Officer 1 Sahrol bin Omar, Sergeant Major of the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ ABDB), participated in the 17th Senior Warrant Officer Exchange Programme 2025. This year, the Singapore Armed Forces is the hosting country for the annual exchange programme between the two Armed Forces held from 25th June to 29th June 2025.
