THE FINAL FLIGHT OF THE MALBATT 850-12 CONTINGENT DEPARTS FOR THE PEACEKEEPING MISSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS INTERIM FORCE IN LEBANON (UNIFIL)
SUBANG AIR BASE, MALAYSIA, Monday, 18 November 2024 – The final flight of the MALBATT 850-12 contingent for the peacekeeping mission of The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), comprising of 208 members of the MALBATT 850-12 including 14 members from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) safely departed today from Subang Airbase, Malaysia using the Batik Air Airbus A330-300.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 14 November 2024 – The Acting Joint Force Commander, Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohamad Said received a simultaneous farewell and introductory call by the outgoing Defence Attache (DA) of the Republic of Indonesia to Negara Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Amd Doddy Suhadiman and his successor, Colonel Inf Gama Arthadilla Sakti at the Joint Forces Headquarters today.

SUBANG AIRBASE, MALAYSIA, Tuesday, 12 November 2024 - The second returning flight of the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-11 contingent for the peacekeeping mission of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) comprising of 206 members of the MALBATT 850-11 including eight members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has safely arrived at Subang Airbase, Malaysia.

RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Friday, 08 November 2024 – A Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony to celebrate the return of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) contingent from the recently concluded ‘Operasi BADAI TADUH’, a Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) mission in the Republic of the Philippines, was held this morning at the Al-Barakah Surau, Rimba Air Force Base. The contingent, led by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Afflon, safely returned to Brunei Darussalam on Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
