THE INDEPENDENT DECOMMISSIONING BODY VERIFICATION, MONITORING AND ASSISTANCE TEAM (IDB VMAT) 5/2023 RETURNED HOME TO BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
BERAKAS, Thursday, 20 June 2024 – Three Officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) led by Commander Mohammad Zouhdy bin Haji Abd Razak, RBN safely returned to Negara Brunei Darussalam after being assigned as members of the Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT) 5/2023 in the Republic of Philippines for 421 days since their departure on 25th April 2023.

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, Friday 14 June 2024 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in the Planning Staff Workshop 2, Multinational Communications Interoperability Program (PSW2, MCIP) which was co-hosted by Australian Defence Force and United States Indo-Pacific Command J6 (USINDOPACOM J6) and was held in Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay from 10th June to 14th June 2024.

BERAKAS, Saturday 15 June 2024 – Three Officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) led by Lieutenant Colonel (Air) Mohammad Khairul bin Pehin Datu Indera Setia Dato Paduka Seri Haji Sulaiman departed to the Republic of Philippines today to carry out their mission as part of the Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT) 6/2024. They will be replacing IDB VMAT 5/2023 which led by Commander Mohammad Zouhdy bin Haji Abd Razak, RBN who has been undergoing the mission since 25th April 2023.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 08 March 2024 – The Planning Staff Workshop (PSW) 1, as part of the Multinational Communications Interoperability Program (MCIP) initiative were co-hosted between the J6 Communication and Information Systems, Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (J6 CIS JFHQ, RBAF) and the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J6 started from 4 March to 8 March 2024 was held at the Radisson Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam.
