BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 27 September 2023 – The Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) received an official visit from Rear Admiral Geoffroy D’ Andigne, Joint Commander of Armed Forces in French Polynesia, who is also the Commander of the Pacific Experimental Center, Commander of the Pacific Ocean and French Polynesian Maritime Zones and Commander of the French Polynesia Defense Base, at the Ministry of Defence on 25 September 2023.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Tuesday, 19 September 2023 – The Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) is a yearly bilateral exercise between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and United States Navy (USN) with the involvement for the very first time, a vessel and crew from the United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) MUNRO.
TWO ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICERS ATTENDED SUPER GARUDA SHIELD 2023 MULTINATIONAL JOINT EXERCISE
BANYUWANGI, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Wednesday, 13 September 2023 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated as an observer in this year’s Super Garuda Shield 2023 Multinational Joint Exercise from 08 until 13 September 2023. This exercise is the annual capstone theater security cooperation event between the Defence Force of Indonesia (TNI) and United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), also participated the exercise were Japan, Australia, Republic of Singapore, the United Kingdom and France. Additionally, several countries participated as observers, including Brunei Darussalam, Brazil, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the Republic of the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, and Timor Leste.
THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (RBAF) PARTICIPATED IN THE 22ND SOUTHEAST ASIA COOPERATION AND TRAINING (SEACAT) EXERCISE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 13 - 25 August 2023 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in this year’s 22nd Southeast Asia Cooperation and Training (SEACAT) exercise that was held from 14 until 25 August 2023. The U.S. Navy’s Seventh Fleet, Destroyer Squadron 7 (DESRON 7), led a two-week maritime exercise with the Republic of Singapore Navy.
FOUR ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICERS ATTENDED THE GLOBAL PEACE OPERATIONS INITIATIVE (GPOI) MULTINATIONAL PEACEKEEPING EXERCISE (MPE) KERIS AMAN II
PORT DICKSON MALAYSIA, Saturday, 26 August 2023 – Four RBAF officers attended the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise (MPE) KERIS AMAN II from 13 August to 26 August 2023. This exercise involved 849 participants from over 23 countries, co-hosted by the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and the United States Indo-Pacific Command’s (USINDOPACOM) held in the Malaysian Peacekeeping Center, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
