29th CARAT EXERCISE 2023 FINAL PLANNING CONFERENCE
DEFENCE ACADEMY, Thursday, 10 August 2023 – The twenty-ninth series of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) bilateral exercise between the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the United States Navy (USN) is scheduled this September 2023 with the involvement for the first time the United States Coast Guard Cutter (USCGC) as a highlight for this year’s exercise.

RECEIVED WATIKAH AND RANK PROMOTION CEREMONY FOR 37 NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS OF THE JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTER, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 13 July 2023 – The Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) held a Received Watikah for two Senior Non-Commissioned Officers of JFHQ and Rank Promotion Ceremony in two separate places namely the Warrant Officer’s ,Staff Sergeant and Sergeant Mess Hall, Bolkiah Garrison for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (Senior Non-Commissioned Officers) with a total of 22 members of JFHQ, while in Multi-Purpose Hall, Bolkiah Garrison for Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (Junior NCOs) with a total of 15 members of JFHQ today. Present as the Guest of Honor is Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, the Commander of Joint Force RBAF. Also presents were Chief of Staff Joint Force RBAF, Head of Joint Doctrine and Warfare Center, Senior Officers and Other Ranks.
