BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 30 June 2025 – Brunei Darussalam will deploy three officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) as members of Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team 7/2025 (IDB VMAT 7/2025) to Mindanao, the Republic of the Philippines. The flag handing-over ceremony was held at Bolkiah Garrison this morning.
BOLKIAH GARISON, Thursday, 26 June 2025 - A total of 04 officers from Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ, RBAF) attended Summary Dealing Course Series 01/2025 held at the Lecture Theatre, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS), Ministry of Defence. The course was conducted for a week from 18 June 2025 until 26 June 2025.
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Tuesday, 17 June 2025 – The RBAirF held the Closing Ceremony of its first Intermediate Air Force Officers' Development Course (IAODC) for Captains at Punai Hall, Rimba Air Force Base. Two officers from JFHQ, RBAF, along with 17 other officers from various RBAirF units have successfully completed the six-week course conducted from 05 May to 17 June 2025.
NANJING, PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, Saturday, 14 June 2025 – A delegation from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) participated in the 20th ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Plus Experts' Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (ADMM-Plus EWG on PKO), held from 11 to 14 June 2025 at the Yangzi River International Conference Center Hotel, Nanjing, People's Republic of China. There were 77 representatives from ASEAN-Plus countries, United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations and ASEAN Secretariat attended the meeting.
JAKARTA, Fiday, 13 June 2025 – The 5th Brunei-Indonesia High Level Committee (BRUNESIA HLC) meeting concluded successfully at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, co-chaired by Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General TNI Agus Subiyanto, and Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.
