PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday 15 January 2026 – Personnel from J3 (Air), Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF), Lance Corporal (U) Muhamad Syafiq Izzat bin Ajrin completed the Regimental Signal Instructor RBAF Course for Session 2025 at the Signal Training Wing, Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF), Penanjong Garrison. The course was conducted from from 10 November 2025 to 15 January 2026 and attended by a total of 26 participants consisting of personnel from various units in RBAF including the Gurkha Security Unit.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 16 January 2026 – The Joint Force of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) held a Letter of Credence presentation ceremony for Warrant Officers and a Promotion Ceremony for Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCOs) held at the New Gymnasium, Bolkiah Garrison. A total of six (6) SNCOs received the Letter of Credence, while eleven (11) personnel comprising of six (6) SNCOs and five (5) JNCOs were promoted.

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA, 31 December 2025 – Thailand released 18 Cambodian prisoners of war on 31 December 2025 after held captive for five months, in a landmark step fulfilling the ceasefire agreement signed on 27 December 2025 by the Defence Ministers of both nations. The handover took place at the border checkpoint between Thailand's Chanthaburi province and Cambodia's Pailin province, under the watchful observation of the ASEAN Observers Team, ensuring transparency and adherence to international standards. Maj (U) Pg Azim bin Pg Idris, Brunei Darussalam's representative in the ASEAN Observers Team, was present to witness the release underscoring Brunei Darussalam's pivotal role in its commitment to upholding regional peace and international humanitarian law.

BELAIT, Saturday, 27 December 2025 – The Ministry of Defence successfully organised a Cleaning Campaign across the Belait District, officially launched at Taman Jubli Perak, Kuala Belait as the main venue by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II. The campaign was simultaneously conducted at several designated sites throughout the district. Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Joint Force Commander, joined the efforts at Sungai Teraban, participating in activities held at Kampung Sungai Teraban Mosque, Kampung Sungai Teraban Primary School, and the Kampung Sungai Teraban Community Hall.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 26 December 2025 – A Doa Kesyukuran ceremony was held this morning at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison, to welcome the return of 29 Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel who participated in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeping mission as part of the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-12. The contingent, led by Major Pengiran Muhammad Syahir Fadillah bin Pengiran Salleh, comprised three officers and 26 other ranks personnel, including two female soldiers, all of whom successfully completed their one-year deployment and returned safely to Brunei Darussalam on 5 December 2025.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 29 November 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue Department, Emergency Medical Ambulance Service, Brunei Bridge Authority and Event Manager representatives came together in concerted effort to provide security and safety support for the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 held from Saturday, 29 November 2025 to Sunday, 30 November 2025 at the Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Bridge (SHOAS). As of the initial preparation, Table-Top Exercises and a Field-Training Exercise were conducted in October prior the Brunei Half Marathon 2025, in efforts to ensure the readiness level of all participating security agencies.

Bolkiah Garrison, Wednesday, 26 November 2025 – The Joint Force Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) organised a Blood Donation Campaign in conjunction with the RBAF 64th Anniversary at the Bolkiah Gymnasium and Multi-purpose Hall. The blood donation campaign was organised by Lieutenant Mohammad Hadi Samsol bin Alex Qurnaine, Staff Officer Grade 3, J2, JF RBAF, and conducted in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre, Department of Laboratory Services, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Ministry of Health (MoH), and supported by Imagine Sdn Bhd. The event was open to all officers as well as military and civilian personnel from JFHQ RBAF and Ministry of Defence. This blood donation campaign marks one of the community activities conducted in conjunction to the RBAF 64th anniversary that was celebrated last 31 May 2025. A total of 65 pints of blood were successfully collected during the campaign, contributing to the replenishment of the national blood bank. Blood donors also received exclusive merchandise as a token of appreciation. In addition, they will also stand a chance to participate in a special lucky draw, with attractive prizes to be announced next year. This gesture not only acknowledges their contribution but also serves as an encouragement for continued support in future donation drives. In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the RBAF, the campaign reflected the commitment of the RBAF in supporting its welfare initiatives through the Heart and Mind approach. The event aimed to inculcating a charitable attitude and a sense of social responsibility among military and civilian personnel to the nation, while also supporting the MoH's efforts to maintain sufficient blood supply for patients in need in Brunei Darussalam.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 13 November 2025 — The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), officially concluded the Maritime Security & Law Dialogue today at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies (SHHBIDSS). The closing ceremony also marked the completion of Indo-Pacific Endeavour 05/2025 (IPE 05/2025), which constitutes the second and final phase of this year's Indo Pacific Endeavour engagement in Brunei Darussalam. The first phase of IPE 05/2025 was conducted from 15 to 18 September 2025.
