JOINT FORCE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES ENHANCE OPERATIONAL READINESS THROUGH FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE AT SHOAS BRIDGE
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 18 October 2025 - Joint Force Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) concluded a pivotal joint exercise in preparation for the Brunei Half Marathon 2025 on the upcoming 30 November 2025. Central to this preparation was a rigorous one-day Field Training Exercise (FTX) conducted at the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien (SHOAS) Bridge. This exercise brought together all RBAF units along with key security agencies that had participated in the Table-Top Exercise conducted earlier this month at the Community Hub, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, highlighting the crucial role of each unit, operational readiness, and ensuring the smooth execution of the upcoming Marathon.

BOLKIAH GARISON, Friday, 17th October 2025 - A total of 21 personnel from Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces have been promoted, consisting of 11 Senior Non-Commissioned Officers and 10 Junior Non-Commissioned Officers, which was held at Corporal Club Hall, Bolkiah Garrison.
MINISTRY OF DEFENCE PARTICIPATED IN THE 947TH FREQUENCY ASSIGNMENT COMMITTEE SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA AND BRUNEI (FACSMAB) MEETING
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 16 OCTOBER 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 1, J6 Communication & Information System from the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF), Lieutenant Colonel Caslindawati binti Samil accompanied by Staff Officer Grade 3, J6 Communication & Information System, JF RBAF, Captain Fauziah binti Sabli, participated in the 947th Frequency Assignment Committee, Republic of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam (FACSMAB), hosted by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in the Republic of Singapore as part of the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) delegation.
AN OFFICER FROM JOINT FORCE PARTICIPATED IN THE INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM 100 (ICS-100) COURSE
TUNGKU, Wednesday, 15 October 2025 – A two-day Incident Command System 100 (ICS-100) course successfully concluded at the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC). The course, conducted from 14 to 15 October, served as a continuation of the earlier National Standard Operating Procedure (NaSOP) course held this month.

TUNGKU, Tuesday, 07 October 2025 – The National Standard Operating Procedure (NaSOP) course was successfully conducted at the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centre (MPTC) as part of the preparation for the upcoming Exercise Perisai Kebangsaan (EPK) 05/2024 – 2025.
SECOND SQUADRON CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL RADIOLOGICAL AND EXPLOSIVE, ENGINEER REGIMENT, ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE PARTICIPATED AT THE REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON SAFETY AND NUCLEAR SECURITY CULTURE VALUES AND APPROACHES IN YOGYAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
YOGYAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Friday, 03 October 2025 – An officer from the Second Squadron Chemical Biological Radiological and Explosive, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (2Sqn CBRE ER RBLF) participated in a five-day workshop at the Regional Workshop on Safety and Nuclear Security Culture Values and Approaches, Yogyakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The workshop was held from 29 September 2025 to 03 October 2025 and was hosted by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) and led by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
