SECOND SQUADRON CHEMICAL BIOLOGICAL RADIOLOGICAL AND EXPLOSIVE, ENGINEER REGIMENT, ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE PARTICIPATED AT THE REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON SAFETY AND NUCLEAR SECURITY CULTURE VALUES AND APPROACHES IN YOGYAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
YOGYAKARTA, REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA, Friday, 03 October 2025 – An officer from the Second Squadron Chemical Biological Radiological and Explosive, Engineer Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Force (2Sqn CBRE ER RBLF) participated in a five-day workshop at the Regional Workshop on Safety and Nuclear Security Culture Values and Approaches, Yogyakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The workshop was held from 29 September 2025 to 03 October 2025 and was hosted by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Nuclear Energy Regulatory Agency (BAPETEN) and led by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
MINISTRY OF DEFENCE PARTICIPATED IN THE 4TH ASEAN CYBER DEFENCE NETWORK (ACDN) MEETING AND CYBERDSA 2025
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, 2 OCTOBER 2025 – The Ministry of Defence has successfully concluded its participation in the 4th ASEAN Cyber Defence Network (ACDN) Meeting, held in conjunction with Cyber Defence & Security Asia (CyberDSA) 2025 in Kuala Lumpur from 29 September to 2 October 2025. The delegation was led by Colonel (U) Zainolhizad bin Hj Mohd Zain, the Head of Cyber Defence Unit, JFHQ.

PORT DICKSON, NEGERI SEMBILAN, 29 September 2025 – Seramai 38 anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah menamatkan Force Integration Training (FIT) MALBATT 850-13. Majlis Perasmian Penutup FIT MALBATT 850-13 telah disempurnakan oleh Ketua Staf Markas Angkatan Bersama (MK AB) Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM), Mejar Jeneral Datuk Mohamed Fauzi bin Kamis bertempat di MALBATT Village, Port Dickson pada 29 September 2025, turut hadir dalam majlis tersebut mewakili ABDB adalah Leftenan Kolonel Rudie Asmawi bin Haji Abidin, Penasihat Pertahanan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 19 September 2025 – The Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for Warrant Officers Leadership and Management Course Serial 1/2025 was held at the Halbi Room, Evolution Centre, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF). In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Acting Commandant TI RBAF. Also present were officers, Force Sergeant Major RBAF, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs), and Leadership and Management instructors.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 24 September 2025 – Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Joint Force Commander, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an office call from Lieutenant Colonel (Air) Philippe Quemurais, Non-Resident France Defence Attache (DA) to Brunei Darussalam, also in attendance was Her Excellency Mrs Eve Lubin, Ambassador of France to Brunei Darussalam.
PARTICIPATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICERS IN TIER 3 TABLE TOP EXERCISE BLACK GOLD SHIELD
The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Tuesday, 23 September 2025 – Tier 3 Table Top Exercise (TTX) Black Gold Shield organised by Brunei Shell Petroleum was conducted from 23 September 2025 until 25 September 2025 at The Empire Hotel & Country Club Jerudong. This exercise is participated by various agencies including Royal Brunei Armed Forces to test and validate the revised National Oil Spill Contingency Plan (NOSCOP).
