DOA SELAMAT CEREMONY FOR DEPARTING OFFICER OF THE AUGMENTATION INTERIM OBSERVER TEAM (AIOT)
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 15 September 2025 – The Ministry of Defence held a Doa Selamat Ceremony for the departure of the Augmentation Interim Observers Team (AIOT) officer at Surau Ad-Difa’, Bolkiah Garrison this afternoon.
THE OPENING CEREMONY OF INDO-PACIFIC ENDEAVOUR 2025 IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 12 September 2025 – The Opening Ceremony of Indo-Pacific Endeavour 2025 (IPE25) was held on board the Royal Australian Navy’s ANZAC-class frigate, HMAS Ballarat, which arrived at Muara Naval Base on 12 September 2025 to participate in Exercise Penguin. Exercise Penguin is a biennial maritime security exercise with the Royal Brunei Navy.
TWO OFFICERS FROM JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (JFHQ, RBAF) PARTICIPATED THE 5TH AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CENTRE FOR OCEAN RESOURCES AND SECURITY (ANCORS) LAW OF THE SEA COURSE
INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE (ICC), BERAKAS, Thursday, 04 September 2025 – Two officers from the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ, RBAF) led by Commander Saiful Hazril bin Ali, RBN, Staff Officer Grade 1 Operation, JFHQ RBAF, participated in the 5th ANCORS Law of the Sea Course, which was co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ANCORS, University of Wollongong, Australia. The course was also attended by officers from various government agencies of Negara Brunei Darussalam.
15TH ASEAN MILITARY OPERATIONS MEETING (AMOM) 2025
KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, Monday, 8 September 2025 – The 15th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Military Operations Meeting (15th AMOM) 2025 was held at InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and was chaired by Major General Dato’ Indera Zahari bin Mohd Ariffin, Assistant Chief of Staff (Operations and Defence Training), Malaysian Armed Forces.
JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (JFHQ RBAF) PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL MAULUD NABI MASS GATHERING AND PROCESSION 1447H
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Saturday, 6 September 2025 – Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) joined His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the Royal family for the mass gathering and procession to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with the main event at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien.
AN OFFICER FROM JOINT FORCE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (JF RBAF) SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE COMPANY COMMANDER COMBAT COURSE 2025
PENANJONG GARRISON, Wednesday, 3 September 2025 – The Company Commander Course 2025, which was conducted over the past three months by the School of Infantry of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (SOI RBLF) has officially concluded. The course was attended by 13 officers, inclusive of six officers from RBLF units, one officer from the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF), three officers from the Training Institute RBAF, one officer from the Directorate of Religious Affairs RBAF, and two officers from the Ministry of Defence. The closing ceremony took place at the Field Firing Area Firing Range, Binturan, Penanjong Garrison.
