STRENGTHENING JOINT MILITARY COOPERATION: JOESC DELIVERS KEY PROGRESS AT 5TH BRUNESIA HLC MEETING
JAKARTA, Fiday, 13 June 2025 – The 5th Brunei-Indonesia High Level Committee (BRUNESIA HLC) meeting concluded successfully at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, co-chaired by Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General TNI Agus Subiyanto, and Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan.
JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS PARTICIPATES IN THE 20TH ASEAN DEFENCE MINISTERS’ MEETING PLUS EXPERTS’ WORKING GROUP ON PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS HELD IN NANJING, PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA
NANJING, PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA, Saturday, 14 June 2025 – A delegation from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) participated in the 20th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus Experts’ Working Group on Peacekeeping Operations (ADMM-Plus EWG on PKO), held from 11 to 14 June 2025 at the Yangzi River International Conference Center Hotel, Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. There were 77 representatives from ASEAN-Plus countries, United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations and ASEAN Secretariat attended the meeting.

SINGAPORE, Saturday, 31 May 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 1, J2 JFHQ RBAF, Lieutenant Colonel Haji Fadzli bin Haji Abdullah was part of the Ministry of Defence delegation to the 22nd IISS Shangri-La Dialogue held from 30 May to 1 June 2025 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Republic of Singapore. The Brunei Darussalam delegation was led by Yang Mulia Poh Kui Choon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence.
JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS (JFHQ) PARTICIPATE IN THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY FORUM IN REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO
PRISHTINA, KOSOVO, Monday, 02 June 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 2, J3 Navy, JFHQ RBAF, Lieutenant Commander Norlaila binti Awang Harlip, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), participated in the represented Brunei Darussalam at the Third International Women, Peace and Security (3rd WPS) Forum, held from 2 to 3 June 2025 in Prishtina, Republic of Kosovo. This significant forum, which marks the first participation by the RBAF, is hosted under the patronage of Her Excellency Dr. Vjosa Osmani Sadriu, President of the Republic of Kosovo, and forms part of Kosovo’s commitments to the Summit for Democracy. The RBAF delegation was led by Lieutenant Colonel Azlina binti Haji Muhammad, Staff Officer Grade 1 Finance, Directorate of Personnel, Ministry of Defence.
