HARI RAYA GATHERING IN CONJUNCTION WITH VIRTUAL SESSION BY THE MINISTER AT THE PRIME MINISTER’S OFFICE AND MINISTER OF DEFENCE II WITH PERSONNEL SERVING OVERSEAS
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 04 April 2025 – In light of the festive month of Syawal, the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ, RBAF) held a celebration in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri held at the Officers’ Mess, Bolkiah Garrison following the virtual meeting that was earlier conducted at the Joint Force Headquarters that morning.

BOLKIAH GARRISON, Friday, 04 April 2025 – Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, extended his Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings to the Defence Attachés and Advisers of Brunei Darussalam in host countries, including members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Contingent on peacekeeping mission with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) alongside the Malaysian Battalion (MALBATT) 850-12, the Independent Decommissioning Body Verification, Monitoring and Assistance Team (IDB VMAT 6/2024) in Mindanao, Republic of the Phillippines, officer serving at the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) in the Republic of Singapore and also RBAF personnel attending courses overseas. The session were delivered on a virtual meeting at the RBAF Joint Forces Headquarters.
SECURITY AND WELFARE CONTROL FOR THE JUNJUNG ZIARAH EVENT AT ISTANA NURUL IMAN FOR 1446H/2025M
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 02 April 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the Royal Brunei Police Force Joint coordination had successfully conducted in carrying out the Security and Welfare Control duties for the Majlis Junjung Ziarah at Istana Nurul Iman (INIM) in conjunction with the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1446H/2025M.
CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE INTERMEDIATE SEAMAN ABOVE WATER WARFARE AND ABOVE WATER TACTICAL COURSE 2025
MUARA NAVAL BASE, Friday, 28 March 2025 - A total of 20 personnel, consisting of 19 from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and one from the Joint Force Headquarters of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF), successfully completed the Intermediate Seaman Above Water Warfare & Above Water Tactical Course 2025. The course was conducted by the Naval Training Center (NTC) and Brunei Engineering, Logistics, and Training Solutions (BELTS) at the Royal Brunei Navy from Monday, 6 January 2025, to Friday, 28 March 2025.
ASEAN PEACEKEEPING STAFF EXERCISE 3 (APSE 3) PLANNING WORKSHOP STRENGTHENS REGIONAL INTEROPERABILITY AND PREPAREDNESS
TARLAC, REPUBLIC OF PHILIPPINES, Friday, 28 March 2025 – The ASEAN Peacekeeping Staff Exercise 3 (APSE 3) Planning Workshop was successfully held at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Peacekeeping Operations Center (AFPPKOC) from 24–28 March 2025. The workshop aimed to enhance ASEAN interoperability and capacity in Peace Support Operations (PSO) by refining key documents and aligning the exercise framework in preparation for the APSE 3 Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) in September 2025.
