JOINT FORCES ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES CONDUCT IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE (IED) AWARENESS WORKSHOP
RIMBA, Thursday, 06 November 2025 – The Joint Forces Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) has coordinated the conduct of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) Awareness Workshop as part of security preparations for The Brunei Half Marathon 2025. The participants of the workshop were members of the Royal Brunei Airlines and Arrowtech, and was held at the Gym Training Hall, Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba.
JOINT FORCES ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES ORGANISED A BASIC WATER RESCUE AND LIFE SAVER WORKSHOP
RIMBA, Thursday, 06 November 2025 – The Joint Force Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) has coordinated the conduct of a Basic Water Rescue and Life Saver workshop as part of preparations for The Brunei Half Marathon 2025. The workshop participants were from the Combat Boat Squadron of Royal Brunei Land Force (CBS RBLF), Naval Surface Action Group of the Royal Brunei Navy (NAVSAG RBN), Marine Police of the Royal Brunei Police Forces (POLMAR), and the Fire and Rescue Department. The training was held at the Swimming Pool Complex, Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba.
THE FIRST RETURNING FLIGHT OF THE MALAYSIAN BATTALION CONTINGENT (MALBATT) 850-12 FOR THE PEACEKEEPING MISSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS INTERIM FORCE IN LEBANON (UNIFIL) SAFELY ARRIVED AT SUBANG AIRBASE, MALAYSIA
SUBANG AIRBASE, MALAYSIA, Thursday, 6 November 2025 – The first returning flight of the Malaysian Battalion Contingent (MALBATT) 850-12 for the peacekeeping mission of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) consisting of 206 members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and 4 members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) has safely arrived at Subang Airbase, Malaysia this afternoon. The RBAF contingent was led by Captain Muhammad Daniel Azfar bin Abdullah .
THE FIRST FLIGHT OF THE MALAYSIAN BATTALION CONTINGENT (MALBATT) 850-13 DEPARTS FOR THE PEACEKEEPING MISSION OF THE UNITED NATIONS INTERIM FORCE IN LEBANON (UNIFIL)
SUBANG AIRBASE, MALAYSIA, Wednesday, 5 November 2025 – The first flight of the Malaysian Battalion Contingent (MALBATT) 850-13, comprising 147 members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) and three members from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), safely departed this afternoon for their peacekeeping mission under the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
MARITIME OPERATIONS COURSE SERIAL 08/2025 ROYAL BRUNEI NAVY STUDY TOUR TO JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS RBAF
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Tuesday, 04 November 2025 – The Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF), received a study visit from participants of the Maritime Operations (MAROPS) Course Serial 08/2025. The visiting group comprised 11 officers and one Directing Staff member from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN). They were received and given a presentation by Commander Saiful Hazril Mohd Ali, RBN, who serves as the Staff Officer J3 Navy, JFHQ.
TWO PERSONNEL FROM JOINT FORCE, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES COMPLETED SENIOR CLERK COURSE 01/2025
PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 06 November 2025 – A total of two course participants from the Joint Force of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) has successfully completed the Senior Clerk Course Series 01/2025. The two course participants were Sergeant Rafidah binti Haji Bagul and Sergeant Muhammad Radzuan bin Jumat. The course was conducted at the Clerk Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Penanjong Garrison and it was attended by 30 course participants from various units in the RBAF.
