BOLKIAH GARRISON, FRIDAY, 25 FEBRUARY 2022 - The Joint Force Headquarters Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) held a handover ceremony between its outgoing Commander, Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir and the incoming Commander, Brigadier General (U) Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin at Wira Seni Hall, RBAF Band, Bolkiah Garrison this afternoon.
Present during the ceremony were the Deputy Joint Force Commander, Chief of Staff Joint Force, Head Joint Doctrine and Warfare Centre, Senior Officers, Officers, Sergeant Major JFHQ and other ranks of JFHQ.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a farewell speech from the outgoing Joint Force Commander. This was continued with the signing of the Handing Over Certificate marking the official handing over of the Joint Force Commander. The newly appointed Joint Force Commander, Brigadier General (U) Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin also delivered his inaugural speech as the 7th Joint Force Commander.
The ceremony concluded with a Closing Doa led by Captain Muhd Nasyrul Wafiy bin Haji Mahdini from RBAF Religious Directorate and a photo session with JFHQ personnel.
