BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 27 October 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Joint Force Commander received an introductory call from Colonel Russ Corwin, United States of America Defence Attache to Brunei Darussalam at the Joint Force Headquarters. Also, in attendance was Chief of Staff and Staff Officer Grade 1 Intelligence and Staff Officer Grade 1 Training, Joint Force Headquarters.
During the call, the Joint Force Commander congratulated him on his new appointment as the United States of America Defence Attache to Brunei Darussalam and expressed his pleasure for the warm and friendly bilateral relations between the two countries. Both sides reaffirmed the friendly defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and United States of America and looking forward to continue the positive development in defence diplomacy and active interactions in the future.
The call signifies the longstanding relationship between both countries as a platform to enhance bilateral relations and future engagement opportunities.
