BOLKIAH GARRISON, Monday, 16 December 2024 – The Parade Ceremony in conjunction with the 17th Anniversary of the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (MAB ABDB) was held at the New Gymnasium, Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison.
Upon arrival, Yang Mulia Colonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohd Said, Acting Commander of the Joint Force RBAF, received a salute from the Parade Commander led by Major Zulazri bin Haji Gapor, Staff Officer Training (J7), JFHQ RBAF. The ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the National Anthem. Also present were the Deputy Commander of the Joint Force, Chief of Staff of the Joint Force, senior JFHQ officers, as well as officers, other ranks, and civilian personnel of JFHQ.
The ceremony continued with a speech from the Acting Commander of the Joint Force RBAF, emphasizing the role of JFHQ RBAF in supporting the safety and stability of the country, and remaining proactive in carrying out defense duties based on three pillars: Preventive Deterrence, Defence Diplomacy, and Holistic Defence, in line with the Defence White Paper.
Furthermore, all leadership of JFHQ RBAF were urged to continue fostering close cooperation and to perform their duties with full commitment and trust, in accordance with the core values of the RBAF: Taqwa, Loyalty, Courage, and Professionalism. The execution of responsibilities with integrity and high dedication will ensure the success of the organization. All officers and personnel were also reminded to maintain strong discipline through the principle of 'Back to Basic' in true leadership, to produce competitive, responsible, and committed personnel in carrying out their duties
Following the speech, the ceremony ended with the recitation of a prayer, a salute, and the cutting of a cake to celebrate the 17th Anniversary of JFHQ RBAF, accompanied by the chanting of blessings and a group photo session.
UPACARA PERBARISAN SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI ULANG TAHUN MARKAS ANGKATAN BERSAMA ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI KE-17
BOLKIAH GARISON, Isnin, 16 Disember 2024 – Upacara Perbarisan Sempena Sambutan Hari Ulang Tahun Markas Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (MAB ABDB) ke-17 telah berlangsung di Dewan Gerak Badan Baru, Kementerian Pertahanan, Bolkiah Garison.
Sejurus ketibaan, Yang Mulia Kolonel (U) Hismawadi bin Haji Mohd Said, Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersama, ABDB, menerima tabik hormat daripada Kawalan Perbarisan yang diketuai oleh Mejar Zulazri bin Haji Gapor, Pegawai Turus Latihan (J7), MAB ABDB. Upacara dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan Nyanyian Lagu Kebangsaan. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan Pemerintah AB, Ketua Staf AB dan pegawai-pegawai kanan MAB ABDB.
Upacara diteruskan dengan Perutusan Yang Mulia Pemangku Pemerintah AB ABDB yang menekankan peranan MAB ABDB dalam mendukung keselamatan dan kestabilan negara serta kekal proaktif melaksanakan tugas pertahanan berasaskan tiga tonggak: Cegah Rintang, Diplomasi Pertahanan, dan Pertahanan Holistik, selaras dengan Kertas Putih Pertahanan.
Selain itu, semua pucuk kepimpinan MAB ABDB diseru agar terus menjalin kerjasama erat dan melaksanakan tugas dengan penuh komitmen serta amanah, selaras dengan nilai-nilai teras ABDB iaitu Taqwa, Setia, Berani, dan Profesional. Pelaksanaan tanggungjawab dengan integriti dan dedikasi tinggi akan menjamin kejayaan organisasi. Semua peringkat pegawai dan anggota juga diingatkan agar menerapkan disiplin mantap melalui prinsip 'Back to Basic' dalam kepimpinan sebenar, demi melahirkan anggota yang berdaya saing, bertanggungjawab, dan komited dalam menjalankan tugas.
Sejurus daripada perutusan, upacara diakhiri dengan Bacaan Doa dan tabik hormat disusuli dengan upacara pemotongan kek sempena HUT MAB ABDB ke-17 diiringi dengan laungan selawat dan bergambar ramai.
