JOINT FORCE COMMANDER WORKING VISIT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL AVIATION, MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT AND INFOCOMMUNICATIONS
BERAKAS, Wednesday, 07 September 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Joint Force Commander made a working visit to the Department of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications. The delegation was welcomed by the Acting Director of the Civil Aviation Department, Mohammad Azlan bin Mohammad Junaidi. Also present were the Acting Chief of Staff as well as Staff Officers of the Joint Force Headquarters.

CHON BURI PROVINCE, THAILAND, Friday, 02 September 2022 - The Royal Brunei Armed Forces participated in the PIRAP JABIRU Exercise (Ex PJ22) 22/2022 organized by the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and the Royal Thai Armed Forces (RTAF) was held at the Center Bangsaen Strategic Study, Chonburi Province, Thailand for 14 days starting from 21 August 2022 until 03 September 2022.

PARTICIPATION OF ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (RBAF) IN SOUTHEAST ASIA COOPERATION AND TRAINING (SEACAT) CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY TODAY
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, FRIDAY, 26 AUGUST 2022 – The 21st SEACAT Exercise led by the United States Navy 7th Fleet had concluded successfully today. Eight (8) RBAF officers from Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) were involved in the exercise which commenced from 16 August 2022 which hosted by the Republic of Singapore Navy. The RBAF had participated in various seminars, workshops and field training exercises that aimed to strengthen military cooperation with other Southeast Asia nations in enhancing maritime domain awareness.

HAWAII, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 22 – 25 AUGUST 2022 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in the 17th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus Experts’ Working Group on Maritime Security (ADMM-Plus EWG MS) at Daniel K.Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in Hawaii, United States of America. Representing Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) were Commander Haji Edy Jofren bin PDP DP Colonel (R) Haji Abdul Jalil, RBN from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) and Lieutenant Commander Abu Qusyairi bin Haji Yacob, RBN from the Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
