TWO PERSONNEL FROM JOINT FORCE, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES COMPLETED INTERMEDIATE (APPLIED) OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY TRADE (A2) COURSE
INTELLIGENCE TRAINING WING, RIMBA, Friday, 07 November 2025 – A total of two course participants from the Joint Force Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) has successfully completed the Intermediate (Applied) Operational Intelligence and Security Trade (A2) Course. The course was conducted at the Intelligence Training Wing, Rimba Camp and attended by 24 course participants from various units in the RBAF and Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Friday, 31 October 2025 – Two officers from Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus Experts’ Working Group (ADMM-Plus EWG) on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) in the context of climate change was convened on 31 October 2025 at The Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Republic of Singapore.
TWO RBAF OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN THE COORDINATED RESPONSE TOP TABLE EXERCISE 2025 IN THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE
REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, Thursday, 30 Oktober 2025 – Two officers from Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) participated in the Top Table Exercise (TTX) for Exercise Coordinated Response (Ex COORES) 2025. The exercise was held for three days at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Republic of Singapore from 28th to 30th October 2025. Ex COORES 2025 is a multinational Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) exercise co-organised by the Changi Regional Humanitarian Coordination Centre (RHCC), the US Indo-Pacific Command’s Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DM), and the Vietnam National Steering Committee for Civil Defense (VINASARCOM).
THE NATIONAL FLAG HANDOVER CEREMONY AND PRESENTATION OF BADGES TO THE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES (RBAF) CONTINGENT FOR THE UNITED NATIONS INTERIM FORCE IN LEBANON (UNIFIL) PEACEKEEPING MISSION
RIMBA AIR FORCE BASE, Thursday, 30 October 2025 – The Brunei Darussalam Flag Handover Ceremony for the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Contingent, who will be serving in the Malaysian Battalion 850-13 (MALBATT 850-13) as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeeping mission, was held at the Air Movement Centre, Rimba Air Force Base this morning. A total of 21 personnel will be participating in this mission.
31st COOPERATION AFLOAT READINESS AND TRAINING (CARAT) 2025 CLOSING CEREMONY
BOLKIAH GARRISON, Thursday, 30 October 2025 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the United States Navy (USN) officially concluded the 31st iteration of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training 2025 (CARAT 31/2025) today with a closing ceremony held at the Wira Seni Concert Hall, RBAF Band Building, Bolkiah Garrison. The eight-day programme, conducted from 23 to 30 October 2025, marked another milestone in the longstanding defence cooperation between both armed forces.
JOINT FORCE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES AND UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS CONDUCTED MARINE ROTATIONAL FORCE – SOUTHEAST ASIA STAFF EXERCISE COOPERATION AFLOAT READINESS AND TRAINING BRUNEI 2025
TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 29 October 2025 – A six-day Marine Rotational Force – Southeast Asia (MRF-SEA) Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Brunei 2025, conducted from 24 to 29 October 2025, was successfully concluded today at the Defence Academy, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF). This Staff Exercise marked a significant milestone as the inaugural STAFFEX integrated into the CARAT series. The exercise was a collaborative effort between the Joint Force, RBAF, and the United States Marine Corps (USMC), MRF-SEA.
