BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, TUESDAY, 26 NOVEMBER 2019 - The opening ceremony of the Regional Maritime Counter Terrorism Table Top Exercise (MT CT TTX) was held today at the Radisson Hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan.
Present as guest of honour at the ceremony was the Acting Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Defence, Haji Amiruddin bin Haji Mohd Hassan.
The Regional MT CT TTX is conducted at the strategic level which involves senior officers in military, policy and law domain. It is co-hosted by the Joint Force Headquarters and Directorate of Defence Policy under the Ministry of Defence of Brunei Darussalam and their Australian counterparts.
Countries involved in the conduct of the Regional MT CT TTX include Indonesia, Malaysia, Republic of Philippines, Republic of Singapore and Thailand.
The Regional MT CT TTX will be conducted for two days in Brunei Darussalam.
