BERAKAS GARISON, Rabu, 05 Ogos 2026 – Seramai empat pegawai daripada Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AB ABDB) telah berjaya menamatkan Kursus All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) 2026. Kursus selama lapan minggu ini telah dilaksanakan bermula 15 Jun 2026 hingga 07 Ogos 2026 di Pusat Latihan Gabungan Tempur (PULGAT), Penanjong Garison. Secara keseluruhan, seramai 21 pegawai dari ABDB menyertai kursus tersebut, termasuk empat pegawai antarabangsa, daripada Angkatan Tentera Filipina, Tentara Nasional Indonesia, Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dan Angkatan Bersenjata Republik Singapura. Majlis Penutup Kursus AASTC 2026 telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai, Berakas Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Brigedier Jeneral Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Pemerintah Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Turut hadir ialah Ketua Staf TDDB, Ketua Staf AB, Atase Pertahanan Republik Filipina, Atase Pertahanan Republik Indonesia, Penasihat Pertahanan Malaysia ke Negara Brunei Darussalam, Penolong Penasihat Pertahanan Republik Singapura, serta Pegawai-pegawai kanan dan pegawai ABDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 247 hingga 251 yang diketuai oleh Leftenan Komander Haji Ahmad Ahdaa bin Haji Ahmad, TLDB, wakil peserta kursus tahun ini dan diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan yang disampaikan oleh Mejar Pengiran Haji Mohd Razif bin Pengiran Haji Idros, Pemangku Ketua Sekolah, Sekolah Taktik. Majlis kemudian diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil dan anugerah yang disempurnakan oleh Tetamu Kehormat kepada para peserta kursus.
Kursus AASTC bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keupayaan pegawai dalam merancang dan melaksanakan operasi taktikal di peringkat Batalion dan Operasi Bersama, sekali gus mempersiapkan pegawai-pegawai untuk menyandang jawatan yang lebih tinggi serta memikul tanggungjawab yang lebih besar dalam persekitaran operasi bersama pada masa hadapan.
JOINT FORCE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES OFFICERS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED ALL ARMS AND STAFF TACTICS COURSE 2026
BERAKAS GARRISON, Wednesday, 05 August 2026 – Four officers from the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF) have successfully completed the All Arms Staff and Tactics Course (AASTC) 2026. The eight-week course was conducted from 15 June 2026 to 7 August 2026 at the Combined Arms Training Centre (CATC), Penanjong Garrison. A total of 21 officers participated in the course, including four international officers from Armed Forces of the Philippines, Indonesian National Armed Forces, Malaysian Armed Forces and Singapore Armed Forces. The closing ceremony was held at the Officers’ Mess, Berakas Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces (RBLF). Also in attendance were the Chief of Staff RBLF, Chief of Staff Joint Force, Defence Attaché of the Republic of the Philippines, Defence Attaché of the Republic of Indonesia, Defence Adviser of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and the Assistant Defence Adviser of the Republic of Singapore as well as senior officers and officers of the RBAF.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Baqarah verses 247 to 251, recited by Lieutenant Commander Haji Ahmad Ahdaa bin Haji Ahmad, RBN, course representative for the cohort. This was followed by course remarks delivered by Major Pengiran Haji Mohd Razif bin Pengiran Haji Idros, Acting Head School of Tactics, School of Tactics. The ceremony proceeded to the presentation of certificates and awards to the course participants by the Guest of Honour.
The AASTC aims to enhance officers’ capabilities in planning and executing tactical operations at both the Joint and Battalion levels, thereby preparing them for future appointments and greater responsibilities within a joint operational environment
