BERAKAS, Monday, 17 October 2022 – Thirty Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) personnel led by Major Hisham bin Haji Mahmud departed to Malaysia prior to deployment to Lebanon for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission with the Malaysian Battalion 850-10 (MALBATT 850-10).
Present at the International Airport Brunei Darussalam was Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Joint Force Commander of RBAF. Also present were Malaysian Defence Atache’ to Negara Brunei Darussalam, RBAF Senior Officers and Officers as well as families.
The Joint Force Commander of RBAF reminded them to be professional in carrying out duties and more importantly to maintain the image of the RBAF. It was followed by a recitation of Doa and a group photo session.
