CYBER DEFENCE UNIT, JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS, ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCE ATTENDS THE 2024 REGIONAL ASIA-PACIFIC CYBERDRILL

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Wednesday, 20 November 2024 - Colonel (U) Zainolhizad bin Haji Mohd Zain, Head of Cyber Defence Unit, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), attended the 2024 Regional Asia-Pacific CyberDrill exercise, a three-day event co-organised by Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) and International Telecommunications Union (ITU) at the Radisson Hotel today.

The exercise is aligned with the ITU Regional Initiative for Asia and the Pacific in enhancing communication, incident response capabilities, and collective efforts among Asia-Pacific Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) to mitigate cyber threats including local agencies as well as regional attendees.

The 2024 Regional Asia-Pacific CyberDrill aims to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation, promote knowledge sharing, and ultimately contribute to a more secure digital future for the Asia-Pacific region.

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Rabu, 20 November 2024 - Kolonel (U) Zainolhizad bin Haji Mohd Zain, Ketua Unit Pertahanan Siber, Markas Angkatan Bersama (MAB) menghadiri Latihan the 2024 Regional Asia-Pacific CyberDrill selama 3 hari yang dianjurkan bersama oleh Cyber Security Brunei (CSB) dan International Telecommunications Union (ITU) di Hotel Radisson hari ini.

Latihan itu sejajar dengan Inisiatif Serantau ITU untuk Asia dan Pasifik dalam meningkatkan komunikasi, keupayaan tindak balas insiden, dan usaha kolektif dalam kalangan Asia-Pacific Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) untuk mengurangkan ancaman siber termasuk agensi tempatan serta peserta serantau yang terlibat.

The 2024 Regional Asia-Pacific CyberDrill bertujuan untuk mengukuhkan kerjasama keselamatan siber, menggalakkan perkongsian pengetahuan, dan menyumbang kepada masa depan digital yang lebih selamat untuk rantau Asia-Pasifik.
