PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday 23 April 2026 - A total of 41 participants have completed the Basic Information Systems Communication Course 2026 which took place from 16 February 2026 to 24 April 2026. Participants consisted of 28 personnel from Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), 06 personnel from Royal Brunei Air Force, 01 personnel from Royal Brunei Navy, 02 personnel from Special Forces Regiment and 04 personnel from Joint Force. Amongst the personnel from Joint Force were Lans Copral (U) Muhamad Syahied bin Haji Edin, Private Mohd Nazirul Waie@Nazian bin Zinrozman, Private (U) Muhammad Julaini bin Nokman and Private (U) Mohd Assraff bin Haji Ibrahim. The Closing Ceremony was held at the Signal Training Wing, RBLF, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Major Ahmad Bohare bin Mansur, Commanding Officer of School of Infantry, RBLF. Also present were officers, invited guests, School Sergeant Major, Head of Training Branches and Trainers. The event commenced with the Antenna Installation match and continued with the Closing Ceremony of the Basic Information Systems Communication Course 2026.
The ceremony continued with an opening speech from the Course Instructor, Copral Mohd Syafrein bin Ahmad, followed by the presentation of badges and certificates by the Guest of Honour. Subsequently, the Guest of Honour delivered an address and formally declared the course closed. The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat,followed by a group photography session.
The course provides foundational knowledge in radio systems, antenna fundamentals, and standard communication procedures, with a focus on practical application in military environments. It also highlights the critical role of effective communication in supporting command, coordination, and overall mission success in warfare.
ANGGOTA ANGKATAN BERSAMA MENAMATKAN KURSUS ASAS PERHUBUNGAN SISTEM MAKLUMAT 2026
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 23 April 2026 - Seramai 41 peserta telah berjaya menamatkan Kursus Asas Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat 2026 yang telah berlangsung dari 16 Februari 2026 hingga 24 April 2026. Peserta terdiri daripada 28 anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), 06 anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, 01 anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, 02 anggota Rejimen Pasukan Khas serta 04 anggota dari Angkatan Bersama. Antara anggota dari Angkatan Bersama ialah Lans Koperal (U) Muhamad Syahied bin Haji Edin, Saldadu Mohd Nazirul Waie@Nazian bin Zinrozman, Saldadu (U) Muhammad Julaini bin Nokman dan Saldadu (U) Mohd Assraff bin Haji Ibrahim. Majlis Penutup kursus tersebut telah diadakan di Cawangan Latihan Semboyan, TDDB, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Mejar Ahmad Bohare bin Mansur, Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri, TDDB. Turut hadir ialah Ketua-Ketua Cawangan, para Jemputan,dan Jurulatih-jurulatih kursus. Acara dimulakan dengan pertandingan Pemasangan Antena dan diteruskan dengan Majlis Penutup Kursus Asas Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat 2026.
Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan pembukaan oleh Jurulatih Kursus, Koperal Mohd Syafrein bin Ahmad, diikuti dengan penyampaian lencana dan sijil oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Majlis diteruskan dengan ucapan daripada Jurulatih Pengendali Kursus iaitu Koperal Mohd Syafrein bin Ahmad dan diikuti dengan penyampaian lencana serta sijil yang disampaikan oleh Tetamu Kehormat. Acara diteruskan dengan ucapan dari Tetamu Kehormat dan penutupan kursus secara rasmi. Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan Doa Selamat, diikuti dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
Kursus ini memberikan pengetahuan asas dalam sistem radio, asas antena serta prosedur komunikasi standard, dengan penekanan kepada aplikasi praktikal dalam persekitaran ketenteraan. Kursus ini juga menekankan kepentingan komunikasi yang berkesan dalam menyokong pemerintahan dan kawalan, penyelarasan serta kejayaan misi dalam operasi peperangan.
