MINDEF, WEDNESDAY, 29 JUNE 2022 – The Final Planning Conference for the Southeast Asian Cooperation and Training 2022 (FPC SEACAT 22) was held virtually for 2 days (28th until 29th June 2022) at the Tower Block, MINDEF. The Opening remarks was given by Captain Tim LaBenz, Deputy Commodore Destroyer Squadron Seven from the U.S Navy.
Delegation from the RBAF was lead by Lieutenant Colonel (U) Radhuan bin Hj Abd Hamid, SO1 J7, JFHQ RBAF. The FPC was held to discuss on joint planning and further details prior to SEACAT 22 activities which will be conducted in the Republic of Singapore and on the open waters on 15th to 26th August 2022.
SEACAT 22 aims to strengthen engagement and partnership between the U.S Navy, RBAF and other Southeast Asian armed forces and partners by exchanging ideas and experiences of current geopolitical issues.
