BOLKIAH GARRISON, Wednesday, 07 September 2022 – Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Joint Force Commander (JFC) received a farewell call from Colonel Kamarudzaman bin Mohd Thani, the outgoing Defence Adviser of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam today.
During the call, both sides expressed their satisfaction on the close and strong defence relationship shared between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. The long standing commitment was fostered through a spectrum of bilateral engagements and various interactions such as training and visits.
In the final note, JFC also extended his utmost appreciation for his efforts and contributions towards the longstanding friendship between both armed forces and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Colonel Kamarudzaman bin Mohd Thani was appointed as Defence Adviser to Brunei Darussalam since January 2016.
