JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS RBAF ORGANISED STUDY DAY RBAF 2022

TANAH JAMBU, Wednesday, 21 September 2022 – The Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) Study Day, organised by the Joint Force Headquarters RBAF was held today at Defence Academy RBAF.

The session focused on "The RBAF COVID-19 Task Force Experience: Working Together Protecting The Nation Against Global Pandemic". During the session, the RBAF COVID-19 Task Force shared their experiences and lessons learned in helping the Ministry of Health specifically and other agencies to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic since its first outbreak.

Present as Guest of Honour was Brigadier General (Retired) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, the Deputy Minister of Defence. Also present were Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Acting Royal Brunei Armed Forces Commander, Permanent Secretaries, Service Commanders, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, Directors, Commandants, officers and personnel of the Ministry of Defence and RBAF.

The session is also attended by Permanent Secretaries from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and invited guests from the Royal Brunei Police Force and the National Disaster Management Centre.

The session began with the sharing of RBAF's involvement in forming the COVID-19 Task Force that was responsible for coordinating and controlling several isolation centres around Brunei Darussalam and providing manpower assistance and expertise to the Ministry of Health in general.

Presenters discussed how RBAF, along with other government agencies and volunteers, worked together through a Whole-of-Nation Approach in handling the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. The session concluded with a discussion on the critical lessons learned throughout the endeavour and the way forward for all government and non-government agencies in managing such threats in the future.




MARKAS ANGKATAN BERSAMA ABDB MENGANJURKAN

HARI PENGAJIAN ABDB 2022

TANAH JAMBU, Rabu, 21 September 2022 – Hari Pengajian Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah berlangsung hari ini di Akademi Pertahanan ABDB dianjurkan oleh Markas Angkatan Bersama Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (MAB ABDB).

Sesi tersebut memberi tumpuan kepada "The RBAF COVID-19 Task Force Experience: Working Together Protecting The Nation Against Global Pandemic". Semasa sesi tersebut, COVID-19 Task Force ABDB mengongsikan pengalaman dan pengajaran yang diperolehi semasa membantu Kementerian Kesihatan secara khusus dan agensi lain dalam menangani wabak COVID-19 sejak penularan pertama.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral (Bersara) Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Abdul Razak bin Haji Abd. Kadir, Timbalan Menteri Pertahanan. Turut hadir ialah Yang Mulia Brigedier Jeneral Dato Seri Pahlawan Saifulrizal bin Abdul Latif, Pemangku Pemerintah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Setiausaha-setiausaha Tetap, Pemerintah-pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Timbalan-timbalan Setiausaha Tetap, Pengarah-pengarah, Komandan-komandan, pegawai-pegawai dan kakitangan Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB.

Sesi tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Setiausaha Tetap dari Kementerian Kebudayaan, Belia dan Sukan dan Kementerian Hal Ehwal Ugama serta para jemputan dari Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei dan Pusat Pengurusan Bencana Negara.

Sesi pembentangan dimulakan dengan pengongsian penglibatan ABDB di dalam penubuhan COVID-19 Task Force, yang bertanggungjawab bagi menyelaras dan mengawal beberapa pusat pengasingan di sekitar Negara Brunei Darussalam, serta menyediakan bantuan tenaga kerja dan kepakaran kepada Kementerian Kesihatan secara amnya.

Para pembentang membincangkan bagaimana ABDB, bersama-sama agensi kerajaan dan sukarelawan, bekerjasama melalui pendekatan Seluruh Negara dalam menangani wabak pandemik COVID-19. Para pembentang mengakhiri sesi tersebut dengan perbincangan mengenai pengajaran utama yang dipelajari di sepanjang usaha tersebut dan langkah seterusnya bagi semua agensi kerajaan dan bukan kerajaan dalam menguruskan ancaman tersebut.
