PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 21 March 2025 – The Junior Officer Tactics Course 2024/2025 officially ended with a Closing Ceremony at the Officers' Mess, Penanjong Garisson. A total of 40 course participants from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) had successfully completed the course which was conducted from 22 January 2025 until 14 March 2025.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Lieutenant Colonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Chief of Staff, Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF). Also present were Commanding Officer of the School of Infantry, Royal Brunei Land Forces, Senior Officers, Invited Guest Officers, and Directing Staffs of the course.
The ceremony commenced with Lieutenant Mohammad Noor Ridzwan bin Ahad reciting Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah An-Nisa (verses 58–64). Following this, Major Nor Mohammad Saufi @ Nikmat bin Ahmad, Directing Staff of the Officer Development Wing, delivered a course review. The event proceeded with a cohort video presentation, the distribution of certificates, and concluded with a closing speech by the Guest of Honour.
In his closing speech, the Guest of Honor touched on the importance of the military planning process, the awareness and knowledge of the contemporary operating environment. He urged course participants to be critical and emphasized that the most effective plan is to be adaptable to the evolving situation. In addition, the Guest of Honor highlighted the importance for course participants to enhance their efficiency, responsiveness and overall effectiveness.
PEGAWAI-PEGAWAI DARI MARKAS ANGKATAN BERSAMA, ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI (MAB ABDB) TELAH MENAMATKAN KURSUS JUNIOR OFFICER TACTICS COURSE (JOTC) 2024/2025
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 21 Mac 2025 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Junior Officer Tactics Course (JOTC) 2024/2025 yang dihadiri oleh seramai 40 Pegawai-pegawai Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) telah diadakan pada hari ini bertempat di Mes Pegawai, Penanjong Garison. Kursus tersebut telah berlangsung bermula 22 Januari 2024 hingga 10 Mac 2024.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Leftenan Kolonel Erwan bin Haji Ibrahim, Ketua Staf Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB). Turut hadir ialah Pegawai Pemerintah Sekolah Infantri TDDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai jemputan serta Pegawai-pegawai Juruarah kursus berkenaan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan surah Al-Fatihah dan bacaan Surah An-Nisa dari ayat 58 hingga ayat 64 oleh Leftenan Mohammad Noor Ridzwan bin Ahad. Setelah itu, video mengenai perlaksanaan kursus tersebut telah ditayangan sebelum penyampaian sijil kepada peserta-peserta kursus dan ucapan penutup daripada Tetamu Kehormat.
Dalam ucapan penutup tersebut, beliau menekankan kepentingan proses perancangan kententeraan dan kepekaan serta pengetahuan dalam contemporary operating environment. Beliau juga menasihatkan agar semua peserta kursus kritikal dan kreatif dalam membuat perancangan yang efektif supaya dapat disesuaikan dengan situasi terkini. Beliau juga berharap peserta-peserta kursus akan dapat melatih diri untuk lebih cekap, responsif dan efisyen terutamanya dalam perlaksanaan tugas dimana mempunyai banyak cabaran seperti masa yang terhad.
