REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 8 August 2025 - A total of 5 officers from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) led by Commander Malek Fadillah bin Pehin Juragan Laila Diraja Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Kefli, RBN, participated in the Final Planning Conference (FPC) and Shore Phase for the Southeast Asian Cooperation and Training 2025 (SEACAT 2025) from 4 until 8 August 2025 at the Concorde Hotel, Republic of Singapore.
The conference commenced with opening remarks delivered by Rear Admiral Todd F Cimicata, Commander Logistic Western Pacific (COMLOGWEPAC) / Task Force 73 (TF73) Seventh Fleet, Pacific Fleet, US Navy. He reiterated that the SEACAT Exercise is to enhance Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) and promote the exchange of information among the participating countries. At the same time, the exercise seeks to take the opportunity to improve regional knowledge and the capability to respond to maritime security issues.
The FPC was held to discuss on the execution and details prior to SEACAT 2025 activities which will be conducted across the region. In addition to the FPC, two workshops were conducted to further enhance and prepare participants for the field training exercise in September. The workshops, comprising of Sense Making Workshop and Operations Center Workshop, aimed to prepare the participants for the actual exercise through embedding scenarios and implementing inter-play through respective Operations Center.




PERSIDANGAN PERANCANGAN AKHIR (FPC) DAN SHORE PHASE BAGI SOUTHEAST ASIAN COOPERATION AND TRAINING 2025 (SEACAT 2025)
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, 8 Ogos 2025 - Seramai 5 pegawai dari Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) yang diketuai oleh Komander Malek Fadillah bin Pehin Juragan Laila Diraja Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Kefli, TLDB, telah menyertai Final Planning Conference (FPC) dan Shore Phase bagi Southeast Asian Cooperation and Training 2025 (SEACAT 2025) dari 4 hingga 8 Ogos 2025 di Hotel Concorde, Republik Singapura.
Persidangan dimulakan dengan kata-kata aluan daripada Laksamana Pertama Todd F. Cimicata, Commander Logistic Western Pacific (COMLOGWEPAC) / Task Force 73 (TF73) Seventh Fleet, Pacific Fleet, U.S Navy. Beliau menegaskan bahawa Eksesais SEACAT adalah untuk meningkatkan Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) dan menggalakkan pertukaran maklumat dalam kalangan negara-negara yang mengambil bahagian. Pada masa yang sama, eksesais ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan serantau dan keupayaan untuk bertindak balas terhadap isu-isu keselamatan maritim.
FPC telah diadakan bagi membincangkan pelaksanaan dan butiran sebelum aktiviti SEACAT 2025 yang akan dijalankan di seluruh rantau. Sebagai tambahan kepada FPC, dua bengkel telah diadakan untuk meningkatkan dan mempersiapkan peserta bagi Field Exercise yang dijadualkan pada September. Bengkel-bengkel tersebut, yang terdiri daripada Bengkel Sense Making dan Bengkel Pusat Operasi, bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan para peserta untuk eksesais sebenar dengan menerapkan senario, dan melaksanakan interaksi melalui Pusat Operasi masing-masing.
