MAJLIS PELANCARAN VIDEO KORPORAT TASK FORCE KESELAMATAN PELANTAR MINYAK LUAR PANTAI

Temburong, Sabtu, 06 Disember 2025 – Majlis Pelancaran Video Korporat Task Force Keselamatan Pelantar Minyak Luar Pantai (TF KPMLP) telah berjaya dilancarkan oleh Ahli Jawatankuasa TF KPMLP. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat, Yang Mulia Penolong Pesuruhjaya Polis Haji Hamri Aslan bin Haji Abu Hanafiah, Pemangku Pengarah Gerakan, Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, selaku Timbalan Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kerja Sekuriti Sempadan.

 

 
Turut hadir Yang Berhormat, Haji Awang Sulaiman Bin Haji Nasir, Ahli Mesyuarat Negara Dan Ketua Kampung Labu Estate & Piasau-Piasau, Yang Mulia Awang Hassan Baha Bin Haji Umar, Pemangku Pegawai Daerah Temburong, Kementerian Hal Ehwal Dalam Negeri, Pengarah-pengarah, Timbalan Pengarah, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Penghulu-Penghulu, Ketua-ketua Kampong Daerah Temburong, anggota Keselamatan dan Penguatkuasaan, serta perwakilan-perwakilan ABDB selaku ahli TF KPMLP.  
 
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah, diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan oleh Tetamu Kehormat serta tayangan dan pelancaran video korporat TF KPMLP.
 
Pelancaran video korporat ini merupakan salah satu inisiatif penting bagi memperluaskan penyampaian maklumat serta meningkatkan kesedaran awam, khususnya dalam kalangan komuniti nelayan, mengenai kepentingan mematuhi aspek keselamatan di kawasan pelantar minyak luar pantai. Melalui penerbitan video korporat ini, orang ramai dapat memahami dengan lebih jelas zon-zon larangan, garis panduan, serta prosedur keselamatan yang perlu dipatuhi ketika berada berhampiran kawasan operasi pelantar minyak. Penyampaian mesej keselamatan ini diharapkan dapat mengurangkan risiko insiden di laut, sekali gus memastikan kelancaran operasi industri minyak dan gas negara.
 
Inisiatif ini turut bertujuan memperkukuh hubungan dan kerjasama antara pihak berkuasa, komuniti maritim serta sektor industri, dalam usaha bersama memastikan keselamatan dan kesejahteraan perairan negara sentiasa terpelihara.

LAUNCHING CEREMONY OF THE OFFSHORE OIL PLATFORM SECURITY TASK FORCE CORPORATE VIDEO
 
Temburong, Saturday, 06 December 2025 – The Launching Ceremony of the Offshore Oil Platform Safety Task Force (TF KPMLP) Corporate Video was successfully officiated by the TF KPMLP Committee Members. Present as the Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Police Assistant Commissioner Haji Hamri Aslan bin Haji Abu Hanafiah, Acting Director of Operations, Royal Brunei Police Force, who serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Border Security Working Committee.

 

Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council and Village Head of Labu Estate & Piasau-Piasau, Yang Mulia Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting District Officer of Temburong, Ministry of Home Affairs, Directors, Deputy Directors, Senior Officers, Penghulus, Village Chiefs of Temburong District, security and enforcement personnel, as well as representatives from the RBAF as members of TF KPMLP.
 
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by welcoming remarks from the Guest of Honour and the screening of the TF KPMLP Corporate Video for its official launch.
 
The launch of this corporate video represents an important initiative to enhance information dissemination and increase public awareness, particularly among the fishing community, on the importance of adhering to safety measures in offshore oil platform areas. Through the production of this corporate video, the public will gain a clearer understanding of restricted zones, guidelines, and safety procedures that must be followed when operating near oil platform areas. The delivery of this safety message is expected to help reduce the risk of incidents at sea, thereby ensuring the smooth operation of the nation’s oil and gas industry.
 
This initiative also aims to strengthen relations and cooperation between authorities, the maritime community, and the industry sector in a collective effort to safeguard the security and wellbeing of the nation’s waters.
