MUARA, Friday, 26 December 2025 – The Closing Ceremony of the Ops Room Supervisor Course 2025 was held at the Serasa Water Sports Complex, Royal Brunei Navy (RBN).
A total of five participants comprising four personnel from the RBN and one Senior Rate personnel from the Joint Force Headquarters, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JFHQ RBAF) successfully completed the Ops Room Supervisor Course 2025. The course was jointly organised by Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions (BELTS) and the Naval Training Centre of the Royal Brunei Navy.
The Guest of Honour for the ceremony was Lieutenant Commander Nuruddin bin Haji Sidup, Executive Officer of KDB As-Siddiq. Also present at the ceremony were invited RBN officers, an officer from JFHQ RBAF, senior rates, instructors, and members of BELTS.
The Ops Room Supervisor Course, which commenced on 3 November and concluded on 26 December 2025, is a mandatory course within the RBN career pathway for personnel from the Above Water Warfare Weapon (AWW) and Above Water Warfare Tactical (AWT) branches. The course aims to produce Ops Room Supervisors who possess the required competence and professionalism as Warfare Specialists in the Combat Information Centre (CIC) onboard ships. Additionally, graduates are trained to assist the Principal Warfare Officer (PWO) during the commencement of exercises or operations, as well as to take charge of post-action activities within the CIC.
This course contributes significantly towards enhancing the Royal Brunei Navy's operational capability and achieving its organisational operational objectives.
MUARA, Jumaat, 26 Disember 2025 – Majlis Penutup Kursus Ops Room Supervisor 2025 telah diadakan di Kompleks Sukan Air Serasa, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB).
Seramai lima (5) orang peserta yang terdiri daripada empat (4) anggota TLDB dan seorang (1) PTB Kanan dari Markas Angkatan Bersama, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (MAB ABDB) telah berjaya menamatkan Kursus Ops Room Supervisor 2025. Kursus ini dianjurkan secara bersama oleh Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions (BELTS) dan Pusat Latihan Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei.
Tetamu Kehormat majlis ialah Leftenan Komander Nuruddin bin Haji Sidup, Pegawai Eksekutif KDB As-Siddiq. Turut hadir ialah pegawai-pegawai TLDB yang dijemput, seorang pegawai dari MAB ABDB, pegawai-pegawai kanan, tenaga pengajar serta ahli-ahli BELTS.
Kursus Ops Room Supervisor yang bermula pada 3 November dan berakhir pada 26 Disember 2025 merupakan kursus mandatori dalam laluan kerjaya TLDB Brunei bagi anggota dari cabang Above Water Warfare Weapon (AWW) dan Above Water Warfare Tactical (AWT). Kursus ini bertujuan untuk melahirkan Ops Room Supervisor yang berkeupayaan dan berkualiti sebagai Pakar Peperangan (Warfare Specialist) di Pusat Maklumat Tempur (Combat Information Centre, CIC) di atas kapal. Di samping itu, graduan kursus ini juga dilatih untuk membantu Pegawai Peperangan Utama (Principal Warfare Officer, PWO) semasa permulaan latihan atau operasi kapal, serta mengambil alih tanggungjawab bagi aktiviti pasca-operasi di CIC.
Kursus ini menyumbang secara signifikan ke arah peningkatan keupayaan operasi Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei serta menyokong pencapaian objektif operasi organisasi TLDB.
