REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE, 16 OCTOBER 2025 – Staff Officer Grade 1, J6 Communication & Information System from the Joint Force, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (JF RBAF), Lieutenant Colonel Caslindawati binti Samil accompanied by Staff Officer Grade 3, J6 Communication & Information System, JF RBAF, Captain Fauziah binti Sabli, participated in the 947th Frequency Assignment Committee, Republic of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam (FACSMAB), hosted by Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in the Republic of Singapore as part of the Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) delegation.
The objective of this meeting is to coordinate the management of radio spectrum in the border area between the three countries, namely Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Republic of Singapore. The need for this coordination is in line with the development and changes in communication systems and the development and planning of national and political laws so that the use of radio spectrum operations can be used without interference in the border area. This meeting also discussed matters of the Electromagnetic Spectrum needs of the three countries. This Radio Spectrum Coordination is important for the National level in general and the Ministry of Defence level in particular.

KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN MENYERTAI 947TH FREQUENCY ASSIGNMENT COMMITTEE SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA AND BRUNEI (FACSMAB) MEETING DI REPUBLIK SINGAPURA
REPUBLIK SINGAPURA, 16 OKTOBER 2025 – Pegawai Turus J6 Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat, Angkatan Bersama, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AB ABDB), Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Caslindawati binti Samil dan diiringi oleh Pegawai Turus 3, J6 Perhubungan Sistem Maklumat, AB ABDB telah menyertai delegasi Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) bagi menghadiri Mesyuarat 947th Frequency Assignment Committee, Republic of Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam (FACSMAB), yang dianjurkan oleh Pihak Berkuasa Pembangunan Media Info-Kommunikasi (IMDA) di Republik Singapura.
Objektif mesyuarat ini adalah untuk menyelaraskan pengurusan electromagnetic spectrum di kawasan sempadan antara tiga negara iaitu Negara Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia dan Republik Singapura. Keperluan penyelarasan ini selaras dengan perkembangan dan perubahan sistem–sistem perhubungan dan perkembangan dan perancangan undang-undang negara dan politik agar pengunaan operasi spektrum radio boleh digunakan tanpa gangguan (interference) di kawasan sempadan. Mesyuarat ini juga membincangkan hal-hal keperluan Elektromagnetik Spektrum bagi ketiga-tiga negara. Penyelarasan Radio Spektrum ini adalah penting bagi peringkat kebangsaan amnya dan peringkat Kementerian Pertahanan khasnya.
